Coach and academy certification
The coach credential in the order it happens, what the academy submits, what expires when, and what renewal looks like.
The coach credential, in order
The order matters. The records screen runs first, and a coach who does not pass review does not proceed to the trainings.

Records screen
Run before anything else. The coach is screened against public records and sex offender registries. Screening is disclosed to the coach and consent is captured before it runs. Any possible match is reviewed by a person against the public record it links to.

- Anything about the outcome. No public surface shows an individual's screening result, including the fact that they passed review.

SafeSport training
Completed with the U.S. Center for SafeSport directly. Safe Academy 360 does not deliver the course and is not affiliated with the Center. The coach uploads the completion certificate.

Mandated reporter training
Training in recognizing and reporting suspected abuse and neglect. Requirements differ by state, and some states run their own course with a fixed renewal cycle. The coach uploads the completion certificate.

CPR and first aid training
A current CPR and first aid certification. The coach uploads the card or certificate with its expiry date.

Certificate upload and review
Each certificate is uploaded through the platform after the screen. Each is reviewed as a document and recorded against the coach with its own expiry date. When all of a coach's credentials are on file and current, the coach's credential is complete.

What the academy adopts
Alongside its coaches, the academy adopts a written code of conduct and keeps it where students and parents can read it. Certification is for the academy and its coaches together: the academy's certificate depends on its coaches' credentials, and the coaches' credentials sit under the academy's standards.
Each credential expires on its own clock
A one time badge is what most programs sell. Safe Academy 360 tracks an expiry date per certificate, not one date per coach. CPR certifications are commonly valid for two years. SafeSport carries its own refresher expectations. Mandated reporter renewal varies by state.
The platform shows each date ahead of time, so renewal is scheduled rather than discovered.
Coach status and academy status
When any single credential expires, that coach's status shows lapsed until a current certificate is uploaded and reviewed. Lapsed is a neutral state: it says a date passed, not that anything went wrong.

On file, not issuer verified
An uploaded certificate is reviewed as a document and kept on file. It is not checked with the body that issued it. Safe Academy 360 says "submitted and on file," not "verified," about a certificate, because that is what it is.
Complaints about a certified academy
Anyone can raise a concern about a certified academy by writing to support@rollpay.co or calling (800) 409 0555. The written process for handling a complaint, including what can change an academy's status, will be published on this page before the first academy is certified.
